Ingredients
  • 1 cup dates, any soft fresh variety
  • ¾ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 4-5 apples (or what you want to use to dip into the sauce)
Method
  1. Open the dates and remove the pits.
  2. Soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour the dates and the water into a blender, or food processor, and process until smooth.
  4. Add the salt and tahini and pulse until well combined and the caramel is smooth.
